Ma.Lourdes Mina, MD. FACOG
Dr. Ma.Lourdes Mina, MD was born in Manila, Philippines.
She received her B.S. Biology and Doctor of Medicine and Surgery degree at the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines where she graduated in the top quarter of her class. She was an active member of UST Glee Club, Red Cross Society and she did a year of internship in the Philippines where she worked in under-served areas of her country.
After completing her internship, she immigrated to the United States where she entered the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency of the Medical Center of Central Georgia here in Macon. During this time, she won the residency research award on work she did on post C-section infections.
In 2014, she joined this practice. Dr. Mina is certified by the American Board of OB/GYN. She is married to a local infectious disease specialist, with whom she has 2 children. In her spare time she enjoys traveling with her family, playing the piano, painting and she would like to continue serving in medically under-served countries.
